Someone correct me if i'm wrong but last I checked these were built in Poland. If that's the case, Poland should at least be given higher allocation.

Congrats on your GRMN and welcome to the forum. I believe that the Yaris GRMN was made in France, at the Valenciennes production facility.

Thanks for the information. Turns out that same plant provides this body style to the rest of the world, even in the U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile other Yaris models are produced on the other side of the Ocean. Eventually they'll be due for a next-generation version so I don't know how long France production will hold up.

This does suggest that all GR variants are likely to remain exclusive to Europe and those in NA will be stuck with TRD. Hope they plan on supercharging another model in their lineup.

Europe was just an easier market to sell to. Meanwhile most Yaris hatches I've seen are used at fleets, rarely with regular consumers unless used within ride sharing services.
