Hi all, new UK owner!

Hello all!
I've had my Yaris GRMN #306 for just over a week and find it fantastic.
As a long time fan of Japanese cars I'm glad that manufacturers are finally starting to make cars that are more performance orientated.
I used to own a Celica T-Sport a few years ago which gave me the bug for N/A engines, I then owned a highly tuned Integra Type R DC2, and the Yaris reminds me a lot of that car, I think the front end of the Yaris may even be more planted!
This is the first car I've owned with supercharger so I'm looking forward to potential upgrades, however there is more than enough oomph for the time being.
Hopefully next year I'll start booking onto trackdays to stretch the cars legs!
I'm surprised at the amount of attention I'm getting from the car, and more surprised that everyone seems to know what it is.
Lets hope this is just the start for fun Toyotas!
Thanks
Scott

Welcome to the forum Scott and congrats. I'm a little surprised to hear that there are still some GRMN models sitting around at dealers. With how limited the production run was for this car, I was thinking they were all already spoken for.

Congrats on the Yaris and welcome to community! Just out of curiosity where exactly are you from? Never would have anticipated that the first production Toyota to get a supercharger would be the Yaris lol.

I am loving mine.

Popped in to see the McLaren 600LT ... and the salesman was running an MR2

The GRMN certainly doesn't feel a poor relation to the Macca !

It's not how fast it is, it's the speed and the agility it carries through corners ... a bundle of laughs for little roads ...

There will always be faster cars ... but more fun ?
